What people are saying about Roman Temple of Évora

So glad we took this tour to the Alentejo region. Our guide, Marco, was terrific. He was flexible, friendly and informative. He stopped for us first at the "Stonehenge" of the Alentejo, which was most interesting, then we toured Evora with its interesting cathedral. Also had an excellent lunch there. Then on to Monsaraz, which is a beautiful spot high on a hill, all whitewashed buildings, with an amazing 360-degree view. The wine tasting was excellent, and we had time for a little shopping as well. A long but very rewarding day!

We had a wonderful trip with Marcus as our guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and provided lots of information about the culture and history of the locations in Evora and Monsaraz. The Chapel of Bones was a big hit with our 11-year old. We had a great lunch in Evora at a restaurant that Marcus recommended. Overall an engaging day with opportunity to see some new areas in Portugal.

Wonderful tour with our guide Rodrigo. Did wine testing at lovely Monsaraz near the Spanish border. Evora was amazing, great food, beautiful churches and Roman temple. Highly recommend

This was a fun trip. A bit of a ride out there but great to get out of lisbon and see the country side.
