An amazing trip, we can’t fault it! It was made clear prior to the trip the pick up & drop off place. We had an amazing tour guide called Luis who was so interesting, knowledgeable & funny (he made the trip for us!). We had 3 different parts to the day, the 1st stop was Chichen Itza where Luis took us round on a tour & educated us all about the Mayan history & culture! He then gave us free time to take our own photos & was open and honest about the best places to buy souvenirs from. The 2nd stop was the Cenote which was beautiful & refreshing & had a delicious buffet included (don’t forget to bring costumes/trunks & towels). The final stop was the local town where we had 30 minutes to explore, have free tequila tasting, eat some churros & listen to live music. Although the trip is a very long day it’s definitely worth it to see one of the 7 wonders of the world! Make sure to factor in extra money for the Chichen Itza ticket & drinks at the buffet but otherwise, book it!

We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this tour. Felipe was an excellent guide, really well prepared and making you sure you got context to all the visited sites and experiences. With him we had a great tour of Chichen Itza, moved on to an excellent lunch in Valladolid and then went to what is probably the highlight of the tour (not small considering you previously visited Chichen Itza) with the visit to a off the beaten path community-run cenote, where you can have an authentic experience and give back to the local community.

Chichen Itza was closed, and we were really disappointed but the tour operator offered us to visit instead Ek Balam, cenote and Valladolid. It was a wonderful day. The archeological site is really interesting and you can climb the pyramid. The cenote is amazing and Valladolid is a nice colorful Mexican city. The food was super good and our guides Alan and Pastor did a great job!
