Enter the amazing Sac-Actun system to discover the longest underground river in the world and snorkel around ancient rock formations. Learn about the majestic Mayan jungle as you rappel into and swim in the beautiful Yaxmuul cenote. Enjoy nature as you fly over it on a zip line. Participate in an authentic Mayan blessing ceremony. Discover an undersea world inhabited by beautiful multicolored fish and spectacular coral formations in the Puerto Morelos National Park, the largest coral barrier reef in the Americas. Learn about the local biodiversity from your experienced guides. Finally, relax in the beach club as you enjoy delicious traditional food. Full Itinerary: First, you’ll visit the Jungle Maya Native Park and spend approximately 3.5 hours there. Explore the enigmatic Mayan jungle and participate in an authentic Mayan blessing ceremony performed by a Mayan shaman from the community. Next, descend into the Yaxmuul cenote and swim in the relaxing waters of this natural underground pool full of beautiful geological formations. Enjoy nature and appreciate the scenery as you fly over the trees on a zip line and land in the water. Snorkel in the Nohoch Nah Chich cenote, the impressive main entrance to the longest underground river in the world. The Sac-Actun system, which extends nearly 350 km (217 miles), boasts amazing rock formations and has been recommended by National Geographic Snorkeler. Next, you’ll visit the second park, the Snorkel Native Park, for approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll receive all the information necessary, including park rules and safety measures, as well as your snorkel equipment and locker assignment. Learn about the best way to enjoy your time, while respecting and preserving the reef ecosystem. Start by snorkeling two of the most well-preserved reefs at the largest coral barrier reef in the Americas, where you will also visit a coral greenhouse that promotes the restoration of the reef system. Finally, return to the Snorkel Native Club Beach Club to enjoy some free time and delight in either an American-style meal or traditional meal, depending on the time. Relax in the hammocks, check out your photos, and play volleyball or soccer. Note that the order of some of the activities may vary.
