Friendly loading process followed by a really well presented tour, the boat captain had a lovely presentation style and a laid back attitude. We were relaxed by his style...and I bet that he tells every tour that this is his first turning of the boat in a narrower part of the river, but it's charming.
The only thing that spoilt it was the rain, but you could sit below decks in the lounge and enjoy reflections. Also a bar for drinks and light snacks. Not many on the sailing, due to the weather and social distancing on the boat was ample. Commentary from the captain was highly entertaining, too!
Afternoon Tea cruise was a great value way to see York from the Ouze, it was a very efficient trip and the commentary on the return trip was very informative. The afternoon tea was ok but not the quantity and quality could be improved.
It was a well organised excursion despite the weather it was very enjoyable. The crew were fantastic and provided a brilliant service with a first class guide and tour of the rover ouse and its bridges and surrounding areas.
Super easy and fun little trip up and down the river. We had a great hour driving our little red boat (Kathryn) they all have cute names and we had a good time.
