Oh this was just the best thing we did whilst in Rio, our local guide was fabulous, he lived in the Favella and knew EVERYONE as we walked around. What I love about this was that he gives back to the Favella on a weekly basis which made me feel comfortable whilst wandering around these poor peoples homes. We also felt very safe. This is a must.

What an amazing trip! Absolutely recommend. Ilha Grande is a must on your itinerary and this is a great way to see it if you’re pressed on time. Boat ride was super fun, island stops were beautiful, and lunch was good! Our tour guide was super nice and attentive. Thumbs up!!
