A brilliant trip and a great way to start the day. Our guide contacted us the day before we were due to go to say the weather wasn’t good and thought we should reschedule which we did. It was still a bit cloudy so didn’t see Christ the redeemer but was a great experience, just make sure you put on your insect repellent - we forgot and provided breakfast for all of the insects there that day.

Great tour! Perfect view including sunrise :-))

In the hope of nice weather we booked this tour. Unfortunately, heavy cloud cover was predicted for the selected day. But it was not a problem - a short message to our guide Guilherme, and the appointment could be postponed to a morning with a better chance of seeing the sunrise. The early pick-up at the hotel worked perfectly and so we arrived in time at the Dona Marta viewpoint, where we could first enjoy a view of the illuminated city and afterwards the sunrise behind the sugar loaf. That was a unique experience and put the dot on our stay in Rio! The organization was impeccable and our guide Guilherme was very friendly and knew a lot of interesting things to tell. We would definitely book this trip again. (a little tip: plan a tour at the beginning of your stay so that it can be postponed if the weather does not go along as desired ..)
