Full description
Rio's Carnival is the most popular and the best Carnival in the world! No wonder it was named “Largest Carnival in the World” in 2004 by the Guinness Book of World Records. Carioca Carnival is a cultural event, where freedom of expression dominates in a creative and fun way, represented through samba school parades, carnival balls, and a street carnival. The official Samba School parades take place in Rio de Janeiro Sambadrome, created by the most renowned Brazilian architect, Oscar Niemeyer and inaugurated in 1983 with capacity for 80,000 spectators. Every year, the Samba Schools compete for the Carnival Champion Title, one school will be chosen as the best of the best. More than 30,000 people perform throughout Carnival. Each school has between 4,000 and 5,000 participants. There are 5 days of parades, divided into three categories: Access Group, Special Group, and Parade of Champions. Access Group In the Access Group, the best Samba Schools will be able to participate in the Special Group in the following year. You will see 12 schools parade with enthusiasm and beauty. This is perfect for those, who want to see the magic of carnival on a budget. Special Group  These are considered the main days of the Carnival Parade. The best 14 Samba schools in Rio de Janeiro show all their creativity and innovations. These are the true magical nights of the Sambadrome. Tickets are more expensive for these days as it is the most popular parade with major league schools. Champions Parade On that night, the top six Special Group schools, plus the Access Group Champion repeat their performances. This is an extraordinary night to see the Carnaval champions of the year.

Carnival Parade is a huge competition of different samba schools. You will be impressed by the efforts those schools used for art, music, idea, choreography. There are hundreds of thousands visitors watchin in area of 2 metro stations and thousands of dancers and musicians performing from sunset to sunrise. It is must go for everyone at least once in a life. Ticket company does speak English, they use WhatsApp for easier communication too, in case you cannot find their office. One concern - it should include subway ticket but it was not in the paper bag with carnival ticket.

Sparkling show full of emotions, to try at least once. Very disappointed by the transfer, it practically does not exist .... some metro tickets (value € 1) are delivered, leaving everyone to get by themselves with fragmentary information. Really shameful, so much so that it was better to take a taxi and go to the area (cost from Copacabana € 5), more practical, precise and certainly less risky

A unique experience, the first day of the parade was really good, too bad it rained throughout the parade but it was not a problem for the Brazilians the atmosphere was at the party in the stands, I recommend the central stands (grandstand 6 towards the jurors) the view is excellent. For the year 2021 take the tickets in advance because arrived on the spot all the places are sold friends whom I had just met could not attend the parade of the famous Sambadromo because all the places were sold, really go for it in advance and the metro places very convenient because the queue at the metro station counter was at least 40 mins 1 hour.
