For Brazilian people this might be easy to walk, but for those Who are not trained, it could be difficult and heavy to get up to the mountain. I recommend to do this walk not on the weekend because there are a lot of people and it could take one hour to get there, because there’s a long line of people who want to pose and take some pictures or some more pictures otherwise it was a great experience

This is definitely on activity that is best for as early as possible in the morning. The slopes are managable but it can be very hard work in the hot and humid environment of the Tijuca Forest. It's avery worthwhile trip and the relaxing beach in a much better area is very welcome. I did feel a little pressured to try and keep up with the 20 somethings also on the trip so we could beat another group but the guide would stop when requested and was always watching out so l felt well looked after. The guide also helped take some great pictures and was quite informative.

Rather steep climb in places and difficult by the heat of the day but accessible to the greatest number anyway. I was accompanied by my husband and my 2 children (11.7) who followed the guide without problem. You must have good shoes that hang and lots of water to hydrate yourself during breaks. The view is magnificent and it is the reward for the ascent. On site photo taken by the guide with our camera and by a professional if desired against 40 reals. Caico and Jessee were perfect guides explaining the details of the site during the ascent but also during the day on Rio in general. Lunch possible after the ascent by the sea. Quality restaurant with a beautiful view. Plan the day. We left at 5:30 am from Copacabana and returned around 5:00 pm due to heavy traffic. I recommend this outing.
