    Spend a full-day shore excursion soaking up the sights of Rio de Janeiro. Get picked up from the Cruise Terminal Pier Mauá and drive to your selected attractions (depending on option booked). You could drive up to the Christ the Redeemer Statue - one of the New Seven Wonders of the World - on top of Corcovado Mountain. You can also enjoy a drive through the Tijuca Forest - one of the largest urban forests in the world - before coming upon to incredible views of the entire city. Next, maybe drive past the legendary Maracanã soccer stadium and head to Sambódromo, the location of Rio's exciting Carnaval. Visit the distinctive Metropolitan Cathedral, a modern structure that is influenced by Mayan pyramids. Check out the brightly colored tiles of the world-famous Selarón Steps, one of Rio's most distinctive landmarks. Then, head to a local steakhouse to enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch (if option selected). After lunch, make an optional final trip to Sugarloaf Mountain. Ride the cable cars to the top of Sugarloaf, reaching a height of 1,295 feet (395 m). Conclude the tour with an exquisitely beautiful panorama of Rio de Janeiro. Return to the Cruise Terminal Pier Mauá.

    There was some confusion about when we would get to Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf, as we had prepaid tickets for each. It turned out that the price of the tickets were included in the tour price so we did not need them after all. We weren't able to get a refund for the train tickets but as the tour drove us up to Christ the Redeemer instead we're ok with that. Monica, the tour guide, was very informative and pleasant. She went out of her way to take photos with us holding-hands with the Christ statue which was awesome. Thank you C2Rio and Monica!

    This tour was brilliantly organised. I received an email to instruct me how to find the Guide when I left the cruise terminal. From there another guide took us to our 18 seater a/c mini bus. Our Guide, Al was fantastic at keeping us on track and explaining all about Rio and its attractions. Lunch was good and very efficient. Overall great value for money.

    Excellent trip taking in all the main attractions. Priscilla our guide spoke very good English and was not only very informative but friendly too. Taking the time to chat to all the passengers on the trip. Lunch was excellent...the best I have ever had on a tour. Basically eat all you can from a great variety of food. Meat eaters will love the skewered steak, chicken, sausage etc. A great tour, great value for money and highly recommended to get you around all the main attractions of Rio in a short space of time.
