What people are saying about Ribeira Brava

A lovely day spent exploring the island with our very knowledgable driver and guide Rui. We got to see parts of the island we wouldn’t otherwise have been able to, including some fun off roading. We were lucky to have great weather and the views were fantastic. The wine tasting at both locations was lovely, and the tour of the vineyard was great, what an amazing place to sample wine and enjoy the views. We did come away with a bottle or two, but there was no pressure to buy. The Land Rover was good fun and having a driver who knew the roads so well and could discuss the history and the sights was brilliant. I would highly recommend- we have only been here for a few days on a short break and this trip has made the holiday. Thank you.

It was so much fun! We saw a lot of the island and the food was super authentic and pretty good. Our guide was super fun and we felt absolutely safe all the time. He was also flexible enough to drive us somewhere else, as we've been to the original destination already. Would highly recommend!

the trip was great, the off road jeep part was a lot of fun and the wine was very tasty. I personally would have liked more information on the Madeira wine during our visit to the lodge, but aside from that it was an amazing experience

What a fantastic way to experience some of what Madiera has to offer. Rui and Diogo were excellent guides and the tours both on and off road were amazing. Would highly reccomend!

Rui was an excellent guide, friendly & knowledgeable!
