Very good Triponly negatives is the queuing in the ports and doing passport control was long but other than that it was great. When you arrive in turkey you can get bus with a tour guide who brings you for a photo opportunity and then to the gold factory , there is no hassle to buy anything if it’s not your thing there is a cafe you can wait and have a Turkish tea. Then you are brought to grand bazaar and giving a time to meet back in same spot for bus back to port , please go to recommend restaurant as the Turkish kebab was amazing. If none of this appeals to you then you are free to do your own thing and meet back at port for departure . We will definitely do this again when we are in Rhodes

I chose the bus tour as i booked the trip last minute and thought that would make the most of the day. To and from the Marmaris was excellent. The tour felt more like an opportunity for business to have a captive customers. A quick visit to a Turkish delight shop, briefly shown how it's made (by an english woman, not quite the traditional ways i was expecting) then moved on into the shop. Next stop was a 5 minute photo opportunity atop some hill overlooking a town (that quick I'm not even sure where it was) Next on to the Gold Centre, 45 minutes here. Just an up market jewlers shop. Then onto the Bazaar in Marmaris for free time for about 4 hours then back to the port. Guide was trying his best on the bus but the microphone was broken so some people were unable to hear him.
