I couldn't choose the transfer option at the time of the booking so it was quite hard to get at the port early in the morning. But the guide who was giving me the ticket was very nice and offered me a transfer back to Faliraki as it turned out that the transfer option was still available. You can get the ticket till 10 min before the departure and then you'll board the boot Nikolaus X which has place for around 200 people. There were a lot of people from different travel agencies such as Rainbow, Simba etc. There was no guide for our trip which I missed a bit (even if we get a paper about useful information in Symi), the others had headsets or live guide to show them around. The first stop is the monastery for 1 hr, it's nice but 1 hr might be a bit long. Then there is a swim stop for 30 mins and then we went to Symi. The island is nice, more things to do than its possible in 3 hrs. try definitely the shrimps Symi, walk around the sponge shops, head to the nearest beach (Sarah beach).

The excursion is worth it. The boat takes approximately 1.40 hours to reach Symi. It first stops at the monastery in the south of the island and then goes to the main port. The town is worth seeing with the multicolored houses. A good plan if you are several days in Rhodes

Excursion not to be missed if you are staying in Rhodes! Stopover of 1h at the monastery, then swim of 30/40min in the magnificent turquoise blue water of the bay of St Georges, and finally arrival in the superb port of Symi. 3 hours of free time on site which is enough to stroll along the port and admire all these colorful houses. Too bad we did not manage to go to the heights. The return by boat a bit long
