1. From Mykonos: 6.5-Hour Cruise to Delos and Rhenia
Climb aboard the good ship “Dolphins of Delos” and set sail to explore the ancient archeological site of Delos on a 6.5-hour cruise from Mykonos. Located just a 45-minute boat ride from Mykonos Town Harbour, Delos is one of the most sacred sites in Greece. It was the center of the Cyclades islands in the ancient world and the birthplace of the Greek gods Apollo and Artemis. Due to its mystical location, the island became home to the first multicultural civilization and was an important trade center in Ancient Greece. Discover the houses of Dionysus and Kleopatra, and see beautiful mosaics and statues; a thrilling experience for art lovers or even the mildly curious. The stop at Delos is entirely optional, and if your prefer to just relax in the Aegean sun, you can sail to the neighboring island of Rhenia, where a private beach is waiting just for you. A cold plate lunch of stuffed vine leaves, olives, turkey cold-cuts, tomatoes, feta cheese, tzatziki and bread will be served on board, while beer, wine, ouzo, soft drinks and water is supplied throughout.
