Full description

Spend the day exploring the dramatic landscapes of the south of Iceland along with its coastline on a full-day sightseeing tour from Reykjavik. Along the way, discover a variety of rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and glaciers.

Following a pickup from listed hotels or guesthouses by bus in central Reykjavík, travel to the gorgeous waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. At the waterfall at Seljalandsfoss, walk behind the cascades and feel the spray on your face.

Continue to Skógafoss to marvel at the 60-meter drop. Pass the black sand beaches of the southern coast and enjoy the power of the sea.

Visit the glacier snout of Sólheimajökull to see an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull. Admire the ever-changing feat of nature up-close. Then, look at the basalt sea stacks at Reynisfjara, Iceland’s southernmost village just south of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, before returning to Reykjavik.

We had an amazing tour thanks to our guide, Chiara and our driver, Albert. Chiara shared plenty of interesting information about the places we were visiting and the icelandic culture, she speaks perfect English and was also very friendly and willing to help us with any issue or any question we had. The tour was perfectly organized and the places we visited are just breath-taking. My favorite was the Sólheimajökull glacier . I highly recommend this tour.

Everything about this trip was outstanding. The sites visited, the Guide, the weather that day... Of all the trips I went on in Iceland this was the best one. Better than the Golden circle tour which I also enjoyed but if you can only do one do this one. Waterfalls, Glacier and black sand beach were all outstanding sites. The guide (Monika) was incredibly knowledgeable and funny giving information on the bus and at each site. She even went round the group taking photos of tour members at the sites, particularly nice for the solo travelers. You could tell the guide loved Iceland and loved sharing all her knowledge about it, even including restaurants to eat at and Icelandic music to listen to. Best Guide I've ever had anywhere if i could score her 20 out of 10 I would.

I went to Iceland last minute and must confess it was the best decision ever. I booked this tour some days in advance not knowing much except I wanted to see the black beach and the glacier. Our tour guide Alan was amazing and kept us entertained with all the Icelandic stories and history. I give it to him, Alan knows his history. The places visited were incredible and the timing was fair considering the distances. As a bonus he took us to a waterfall, a hidden gem taking into consideration the weather was great. If you don’t have much time and want to enjoy Iceland beauties in a nutshell I definitely recommend this tour (if you are lucky with Alan)
