Full description

Follow the south coast of Iceland to the glacial lagoon, Jökulsárlón, on a full-day tour from Reykjavik. Visit the Seljalandsfoss waterfall and learn about the incredible landscapes from your guide. Stay connected with free WIFI aboard the climate-controlled bus. Depart from Reykjavik in an air-conditioned bus and pass charming villages as well as Skaftafell National Park on your way to the Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss waterfalls. Look out for Iceland’s biggest volcano, Öræfajökull glacier. After arriving at the lagoon, enjoy some time to view this stunning area. Take a walk along the shore and admire the icebergs. During the summer season, amphibian boat tours on the lagoon are available at an extra cost (payable onsite). Jökulsárlón started to form in the early nineteen twenties and is getting bigger every year. See blocks of ice that have broken off Europe’s biggest glacier, Vatnajökull, as they sail slowly towards the ocean. The tour returns to Reykjavik in the evening.

A great day of excursions began with an over-punctual pick-up at the hotel. The stops along the way are well chosen and our tour guide Roman was cool and told us a lot about the country and its people. The glacier lagoon itself was absolutely amazing, I've never seen anything like it. The other highlights of the south to visit were also scenically beautiful. Unfortunately, it rained quite a bit, but as we all know, there is no such thing as bad weather in Iceland, just the wrong clothes. All in all an incredibly well organized day trip with wonderful new impressions. Thumbs up!!!

The tour was well organized. Half of our group couldn't join but the staff was very cooperative. It is a long tour that includes travel time of about 10 hours and about 4 hours of sightseeing. Bus was comfortable and itinerary was good. Price is very very good for the tour.

One of the best trips ever I've taken in Iceland. Sure it's a long day, lot of travelling in the bus, but every destination was breathtaking and we had so much of information from our Guide Ester, I got to know so much about volcanoes and how they fuel the country etc. You will need waterproof shoes as it involves a lot of waterfall experiences along the way. Also, you can pay additional 45 euros on the spot at Glacier Lagoon for taking an additional Boat trip, which was totally worth it. We learn a bit about glaciers but its fascinating to see them really close by. The whole route was very scenic. we had decent food stops and bathroom stops at Gas stations. Good group too. comfortable Buses with charging facilities as its very useful. Will recommend 100 percent. Please bring windshield jackets, warm clothing and waterproof pants and shoes if possible. The pickup and drop was very smooth too.
