  • From Reykjavik: 3-5 Hour Northern Lights Mystery Tour

    1. From Reykjavik: 3-5 Hour Northern Lights Mystery Tour

Join this mysterious trip on a dark winter’s night to search for the Northern Lights. This spectacular natural display can be witnessed at any time from the onset of the autumn darkness to the light nights of spring. Far from the glow of the city you will hunt for the magnificent Aurora Borealis – known as the Northern Lights. On a clear night you may be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights swirling in a wild and carefree dance across the sky in dramatic shapes, colors, patterns, and sizes. The expert tour guides will always check the weather forecast around the south-western part of Iceland before the tour begins. Using their experience and intuition, the tour guide will decide where to lead your journey to have the best chance of spotting the Northern Lights.

The driver and guide were so friendly and accomodating, just a shame we didn't see the lights but it can't be helped

  • From Reykjavik: The Golden Circle Express Tour with Pickup

    3. From Reykjavik: The Golden Circle Express Tour with Pickup

Visit some of Iceland’s most famous sites on this tour, like Þingvellir National Park (English: Thingvellir), where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was established in the year 930. In 2004, Thingvellir National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List and is now one of 800 places in the world that have been honoured by UNESCO. After that, see Gullfoss waterfall and the spouting hot spring area around Geysir and Strokkur. Although this trip is an express tour, experience some of the very best known historical sites and natural phenomena in the country.

Overall great experience!! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and definitely added a great deal to our day! The sites visited were absolutely beautiful and I’m very pleased that we were able To experience them. My only displeasure was that I chose the tour with the higher price because it included hotel pickup. After booking, I was advised that the bus wouldn’t be able to pick up and drop off at my hotel. Instead, I needed to meet at a bus stop to picked up by a bus, then transferred to another bus. Thankfully, it wasn’t a long walk to the pickup/drop off spot, but if I would’ve known beforehand, I would’ve selected the less expensive option that didn’t include hotel collection. Other than this, the tour was wonderful!

The tour guide was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and fun. I lost one of my gloves at the Globe and he offered to try to get it when he went back with his afternoon tour. Well he did find it and personally dropped it back at my hotel. I don’t remember his name but my tour was on Wed morning on March 11. He was also multi-lingual and gave his tour in several languages accommodating everyone by speaking their language. Whoever gets my tour guide will be blessed.
