The team that ran the trip were very friendly and relaxed but also very professional and safety conscious. The boat ride was fast, bumpy and with the expected showers of spray from the bow. We stopped briefly near a puffin colony and saw many around the boat. It the. took a while of searching feeding bird activity to find some whales but we ended up seeing some porpoise, a brief couple of glimpses of a humpback and were rewarded with a curious young minke whale which circled our boat for about 15 minutes or more. It wasn’t cold (it was a clear and sunny August day) but I was glad of the suit they provided. All in all a positive experience.

The experience was amazing! We knew that the chances to see a whale are small, but we also knew that we going to enjoy the speed boat itself and we will going to see some wildlife. After about an hour we spotted some whales and that was something mind blowing. We saw them swimming along our boat, tale slapping, flipper slapping and blowing. Our amazing guide Eva convinced captain Jens to stay little bit longer and we were able to see the whale breaching!Captain Jens kindness and Eva's energy and knowledge about the whales made this trip so enjoyable. Thank you so much.

We went out whale watching for 2 hours leaving from the Reykjavik marina out into the Atlantic waters and were provided with all the necessary gear to stay warm and safe. It was an awesome time, especially as it was just a small group of us on a perfect size small-medium boat. Our guide was very knowledgeable and our captain was a great pilot!
