This isn’t the exact tour we booked due to cancellation from weather conditions. (Not the company’s fault.) They however upgraded us to the full day tour. And it was outstanding! TOM our guide was by far the best guide we had all week and maybe one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend and Tom should be on every tour available!

A good tour in itself, but unfortunately there were a few problems with the bus, which is why we only reached our destination much later. As a result, it was not possible to see much of the volcano as we could not walk far because of the early sun setting.

The tour itself was really great! Our tour guide Tom spoke great English, you could understand him and his stories well. He was very considerate of questions and answered them calmly. He's super funny too. First we stopped at a lake and then drove to the hot springs. Before we drove to the volcano, we made a small detour to the coast and looked at the ruins of fishermen's shelters. Arriving at the volcano, we first walked over the cooled lava and were able to take a close look at everything. Then we hiked up to the next mountain to see everything from above. It was great. Unfortunately I can only give 4 stars because the tour started 45 minutes late and our bus didn't start at the end...
