Full description

Start the trip from a beautiful harbor in the city center and sail out to Kollafjöður, where you can see the island in the bay. Videy Island is known for the Lennon/One Peace tower, Richard Scerra's 'Milestones', and other attractions, along with great bird life.

Continue on to Faxaflói Bay, popular for whale and bird watching, sea angling, and also great fishing grounds. The mountain ring seen from the bay, among which Snaefellsjökull Glacier may be spotted on clear days, is particularly beautiful.

Saw the whales was a really nice experience they have snacks and hot drinks you can buy (fresh waffles with spread you like, coffee, hot chocolate, chocolate, instant soup etc). The guide was really nice and took photos of the whales for us to just enjoy the nature. Also got the thermal suit available

Actually I wasn't expecting much as I've been told many times that you don't see much in the bay. But this tour surpassed everything. It started with the top organization. Tip is to go straight forward onto the elevation. You get great information, everyone is friendly. Right at the beginning we drove through ice floes and a few seals showed up. Great photo opportunities! And a little further in the bay we saw humpback whales. pure magic. The team gave plenty of time to look around and were very patient. I stood outside until the end, despite the sub-zero temperatures. But inside there was cocoa and very tasty waffles, which were prepared by young gentlemen with love and all sorts of things on top. The prices were very reasonable too! Great team - great tour. Especially the friendly Dane who gave great info!

We thoroughly enjoyed the activity , there was an informative commentary and we saw two whales. I found it difficult to find the meeting point , the online chat didn’t help, we eventually found the company’s office who told us where we should meet. When I got to the meeting point the staff member couldn’t scan the bar code on my phone ticket which caused a delay, however the actual activity was great!
