We had a seamless transfer experience from the BSI Bus Terminal in Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon with no problematic issues and takes around 40 - 50 minutes travel time. You are made aware of the return times back to Reykjavik once you have been picked up and have the option to be dropped off closer to your hotel if you wish to do so. I would certainly recommend booking the Return Transfer separately to booking the return transfer/blue lagoon admission ticket as you save yourself £20.00 booking separately. Furthermore, booking transfers and not taxi's is going to save you considerably as it would cost you £120.00 + to get to the blue lagoon from Reykjavik.

Highly recommend this option if you don’t want to be tied down by a certain time you can spend in the lagoon if bought on additional trips! We walked to the BSI station and left promptly on time, we were handed a scheduled whilst getting onboard to advise of return times. We spent a good few hours in the lagoon and had lunch so caught the 6:15 bus back to the terminal which kindly dropped everyone off at certain bus stops!
