This was an extremely impressive event. I went with my six-year-old daughter and she absolutely loved it. For me the experience was less positive, but only because I am not really good at all with the funfair rides. The fact is that it was so realistic that I had to close my eyes for most of it! But I do not mean that as a criticism. It is a tribute to what this offers, that it did feel as though I was On a funfair ride, except travelling at airplane speed over Iceland with only a seatbelt for support, being sprayed by wind and water, and buffeted from side to side by the wind. So to anyone who does enjoy funfair rides, this will be absolutely wonderful.

This experience was recommended by our host in their apartment information materials. Also, it was mentioned by others on a tour we took. However, what clinched the deal was a recommendation from a taxi driver who drove us out for a pre-flight Covid test. We asked him what things he suggested we made sure we did around Reykjavík. Fly Over Iceland was his first answer and we bought tickets that day! It was a lovely walk over to this event location, and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was educational and entertaining and very well done. The first parts were presented standing, and the seated part was both fun and breathtaking. Afterward, lunch at a wharf restaurant was a perfect ending. We ate at a restaurant labeled the oldest restaurant in Reykjavik, which had no lines and was delicious.

FlyOver Iceland was a very fun experience. We were especially glad we had toured Iceland prior to taking the ride...it made it much better having just seen so much. Getting our tickets through Get Your Guide was so easy, and it meant we had our tickets before arriving and made the whole experience stress free.
