Amazing!!! Our guide Hanna was so informative and honest about how unpredictable the Aurora is but we got to see them. The boat was cosy and you were able to pass the time with food and drink, they even give out sea sickness tablets which I appreciated since im not the best with boat rides. The crew on board were so lovely. Even though we were lucky to see the lights on the tour it was considered unsuccessful, so we were given complimentary tickets for our next visit which we will 100% do! Definitely do this tour it's fab and sp worth standing out in the cold for

This was a great experience and I’d highly recommend it to any travelers in the area! I visited in mid-March (toward the end of northern lights season) so we were only able to see a couple bands of light, but it was still worth it nonetheless. The lights we did see were beautiful, and it was also an incredible view of the night sky and Reykjavik. Because we didn’t get a fill northern lights display, everyone was given a credit so they could return for free and view them again. I’ll definitely be doing this as soon as I’m back in the area!

A great evening!

We had booked a Northern Lights boat tour. Unfortunately the sea was too rough and it became a tour by bus. We were informed about this by email in good time and the buses were ready when we arrived at the organizer at 9 p.m. In addition, we have been given the option to participate in a boat tour, whether or not we would like to see the Northern Lights and there is no time limit. And whether we have seen the Northern Lights! With the bus we drove to a dark place about 45 minutes from Reykjavik. Along the way, the tour guide told about the Northern Lights and also helped the guests with the settings of the camera to be able to capture it nicely. Although we had of course opted for the boat tour, the bus was also a success and well arranged! A disadvantage of a bus tour is that you can do it yourself with a rental car (which we also had), therefore opted for the boat. So for that matter, a bus tour is a waste of money.
