    Experience Iceland’s second-largest glacier from the inside and enjoy the rare sight of blue ice at the heart of an ice cap glacier on this half-day tour.  Catch a shuttle to the Glacier Base Camp, Klaki from Húsafell. Meet your professional guide and gear up in warm overalls if needed, before boarding a specially-modified glacier truck for the drive up to the cave entrance. Arriving at the cave entrance, head inside the glacier with your guide. The man-made Langjökull Glacier Tunnel is a wonder to behold. The ice is lit up from behind by glowing hues, allowing you to see the layers that have formed over many years. Listen as your guide walks with you through the glacier's corridors where you will have a chance to learn about geology, the history of glaciers, how they are formed, and how they move.

    We were accompanied by a competent Icelandic guide who took us up the glacier in an 80s military truck which they modded to be a glacier vehicle. The ice cave itself is man-made (not natural like in Vatnajökull), but it still is impressive to walk through the long digged tunnel in the glacier.

    This was a once in a lifetime experience that my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed. We felt safe and comfortable for the whole tour, including the epic drive up to the glacier. Our tour guide was excellent - knowledgeable and personable. Don’t come to Iceland and miss out on doing this tour going inside of a glacier- something you cannot do anywhere else in the world!

    We had a great guide! We met at the activity center which was easy to find. There’s bathrooms, snacks, and a restaurant. We took a big off-road vehicle up and got to tour the cave for about an hour. Guide was funny and knowledgeable. Learned a lot and the kids had a blast. Kids were 4 and 8 and could walk inside no problem.
