Full description

Enjoy a guided wetsuit snorkeling tour in the Silfra fissure, located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Thingvellir National Park. Leave Reykjavik behind and discover this hidden natural wonder, where the 100-meter underwater visibility and bright colors make the experience almost unrealistic.

Immerse yourself in the pristine water of Silfra—some of the purest waters on the planet. When snorkeling in Silfra, travel between two continents, ending the tour in a lagoon often called "the real blue lagoon" because of the bright blue color of the water. Snorkeling in Silfra fissure, where you are guided into this magnificent scenery, is a total must-see for all nature and adventure-thirsty travelers. Enjoy freedom in terms of movements and free dive by holding your breath.

Stay dry underneath your drysuit or, for the more adventurous, choose a wetsuit to feel the natural cool waters. The wetsuits used are six millimeter in thickness and isolate the body well from the cold water. Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and leave feeling reinvigorated

With the booking as well as the transfer and implementation, everything went well. We were picked up very close to our guesthouse and then drove to the Silfra fissure in a small bus. Everything was ready there and we were instructed well and precisely. The dry suit was great and you even got a layer underneath the dry suit to keep you warm. I had more cold during my 2 week vacation in Iceland than in the Silfra fissure in the equipment provided. Our guide was Luis, super personable, humorous and competent guide. I would recommend anytime. Whether the photos turned out anything, I can't judge yet. I took my own GoPro to photograph the Silfra fissure as the guides (at least I think) focused more on people photos. The hot chocolate at the end was delicious and soothing.

This was such an amazing experience and I highly recommend everyone to do this. It was unlike anything I've ever done before. I felt really safe with the instructors and Chico kept checking in on me to make sure I was okay as I was there by myself. Would definitely do again.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. An absolutely amazing experience!!! I was so weary of how cold the water would be but the dry suits were insanely warm. The views you see underwater are next level. Our guides Luís and Chico were beyond brilliant, eased everyone's concerns and made the tour even more enjoyable than it already was. I definitely 100% recommend going with Adventure Vikings based on the amazing guides and the additional pictures they get for you when you're between the plates. Once in a lifetime experience and I can't express how much we enjoyed it!
