This worked out well as other options were just too cost-prohibitive. Pick-up was from the BSI Bus Terminal at 13:00 and took about 50 minutes to get to Blue Lagoon. There, the bus waited for 4 hours while we enjoyed the Lagoon. At 18:00, the bus departed back for the BSI Terminal while making stops at various hotels within the city center. It was a big, full bus and the downside was that there was some people that were clearly sick as they could not stop coughing. What made matters worse is that the one guy didn’t even wear his mask properly.

Overall, it was a straight forward process, arrived at BSI, got on bus. Only gave it 4/5 stars because the last bus to get back to Reykjavik left the lagoon at 6pm, which, with a 1pm bus arrival time, made it feel like a rushed experience for me. Wish they made it clearer what time the bus departure was BEFORE I signed up! Otherwise, great and easy experience with spacious seating and beautiful rides both ways

Despite the gray sky, the water is spectacularly colored. When we entered there was a helpful explanation of the process, everything worked out fine. I booked online in Reykjavik the day before, paid by credit card and a short time later I received the email with the voucher. GetYourGuide with pleasure again!
