Full description

Explore the dramatic landscapes of the south of Iceland on a full-day sightseeing tour by bus. Go to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon outlet of the largest glacier in Europe, leaning about its history and formation from your local guide.

Following a pickup from your hotel in Reykjavik, transfer to the southern coast and the dramatic Glacier Lagoon. Enjoy plenty of time to see the floating icebergs and enjoy the stunning scenery.

During the season, make sure to reserve your ticket to the boat cruise on the Jökulsárlón and experience the unique Glacier Lagoon spectacle up close. When you prebook, your place is guaranteed.

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is Iceland’s largest and deepest glacier lagoon. It branches from Breidamerkurjokull, an outlet glacier of Vatnajokull, Europe’s largest glacier.

Return to Reykjavik, stopping at the gorgeous waterfall Seljalandsfoss. You will visit the Diamond beach with black sand, and there will be an additional stop in Iceland's southernmost village at Vík for dinner.

Wow wow wow this trip is amazing! from start to finish So well organised it's a very long day with a 7am pick up not back till 11.30 in the evening it's worth every minute. So many extra unplanned stops to make the most of the limited daylight. And when you get to the main destination you will be in amazement at just how stunning the glacier lagoon and diamond beach are I would not hesitate in booking this trip again it had everything we even saw the northern lights on way back so an extra stop to take photos and marvel at there beauty. The bus driver kristoff did fantastic and the guide omar well what an I say so knowledgeable born and raised in iceland so filled our day with knowledge of tales and stories and facts about his land.

The views were amazing, the bus was comfortable. I did appreciate that Thomas truly went out of his way to have us see the Northern lights (not part of the tour) we did get to see them. The tour guide needs to not curse (specially when there are children on the bus) & keep his political commentaries to himself. Also please ask the travelers if they want music on, The whole ride? Some like it quiet, at least part of the time. Thomas you were good, but need to read above, and do better next time.

This was all of our BEST experience in Iceland. If you go to ICEland you have to make time to actually see the ice!! The tour is a long one but you make many stops, including for warm food and bathroom. The only thing that could have been improved was our guide Tom did not seem to plan the best with time. For example we did a decently active canyon hike that wasn’t on the list, but that meant the waterfall we all were excited to see happened in the pitch dark (there are lights on the waterfall so it is visible) but it was bitter cold at the time of night we saw it/made it hard to actually walk behind the waterfall because of the visibility. The sights on the tour show the most breathtaking views of Iceland. So worth the time and money!!
