Full description
Take an afternoon tour of Iceland’s legendary Golden Circle on an 8-hour day trip from Reykjavik. See the best of the southwest, including the spectacular Geysir area, Gullfoss waterfall, and Þingvellir National Park. Following a pick-up from your designated pickup location in central Reykjavik, transfer to the geothermal area of Geysir. Marvel as the active hot spring of Strokkur spouts steaming water 30 meters into the air every 8 minutes. Continue to one of Iceland’s most iconic features at the Gullfoss Waterfall (“Golden Falls“). Feel the spray of the waters of the glacial River Hvítá as it plummets down into a 32-meter deep crevice. Next, enter Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimeters per year. Þingvellir was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural values in 2004. Pass through Icelandic farms on your drive around the Golden Circle.

It was absolutely Brilliant I really enjoyed it, Claudia was an absolute legend. Gave us many tips and were to get best photos. I will be recommending Get your Guide to everyone in UK that is thinking of coming over to Iceland. I have started my own travel advice (unofficial) on Facebook as I am to visit 56 Counties in Europe over the next 7 years. I will be returning to Iceland in 2026/2027 when I have completed my task. I just hope Claudia is on my next trip. If you want to use my Facebook to share upcoming tours, then please feel free. It's Janet Karla Cronin, although at present I am Stuart.

The trip itself was excellent. But the experience of booking on line ( the price for pick up showed to be the same as the basic purchase price, so I assumed the the pick up was no extra charge. When we checked the printed ticket closer it said pick up was at Stop 12 our hotel was at Stop 5. When we had our front desk try to contact a "person" by phone to clarify where we would be picked up there was no answer. My wife Emailed the question to your rep #, to which we got the reply that it cost us approx $15 each (4 people) to be picked up at Stop 5. We said an emphatic NO!!!! We ended up calling a cab ($13) to take us to Stop 12. But the kicker to this whole story was that, over coffee, we were telling another couple on the tour that happened and told us that they were staying at the same hotel as us and were picked up at Stop 5 at no extra charge. There were many other groups offering the same tour at the same price as yours. The next time I book one of these excursions on line,

    Best tour of our holiday.

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour. Well balanced between driving to destinations and time allotted at destinations. Tour guide fantastic and driver( Lucus) would give Lewis Hamilton a run for his money. That said, we felt entirely safe in his hands. I need to find friends or relatives going to Reykjavik so as to recommend you. You even arranged lovely weather for the tour.
