  • Iceland Secret Lagoon Admission Ticket

    6. Iceland Secret Lagoon Admission Ticket

Originally built in 1891, the ‘Gamla Laugin’  is Iceland’s first swimming pool. Spend time in this relaxing setting feeling your worries slip away. A natural hot spring feeds the lagoon with 38-39°C water  that bubbles up from deep within the earth at a rate of 10 litres per second, constantly replenishing itself so that there is a steady supply of fresh clean water in the pool at any given time, letting you rest as long as you need.  Enjoy brand new facilities at the Secret Lagoon including changing rooms, showers, resting rooms, bar and restaurant area.  Situated in a remote location in Fluðir, the Secret Lagoon is just an hour away from Geysir, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Reykjavik and 2 hours from Vik making it a great desination on your trip to Iceland.

The Secret Lagoon is delightful resting 'activity' to add to your adventure travels in Iceland. We had been horse-back riding and hiking a whole lot and felt a bit tired and sore. Floating in the lagoon was just the perfect cure for that! It seemed like a much less formal and sophisticated version of the Blue lagoon, which we also visited, and I liked it all the more for that. Definitely worth visiting!

Bustravel Iceland are fantastic - when we went on this tour we witnessed a fantastic Northern lights show (after rescheduling due to poor weather). We were lucky enough to have Siggi as our tour guide, who went above and beyond to show and tell us about the Northern Lights. His passion for the Northern Lights was infectious and his predictions about when and how they would show were pretty much spot on. Not only did he tell us how to spot the lights, he also showed us how to capture them on our phones/cameras and was kind enough to share his spectacular photographs, which he captured on his DSLR, with us at the end of the tour. We had two guides, Hallur and Ronan. It was because of them that this trip was so enjoyable! The waterfall was majestic and extremely windy. The geysir was tiny but still worth a visit. Then Hallur brought us for some delicious ice cream. It shocks the body to enjoy ice in the cold but the texture was just too good to put down the ice cream. Then, we went snorkelling with Ronan. Right off the bat, he was friendly and most kind. He got to know each one of us personally. He was a diver in the navy so you can rest assured that you're in safe hands! Ronan made the snorkelling experience like a party. We had so much fun. The waters were clear and mesmerizing. And the hot chocolate that comes after was the best thing ever. I was nervous about the cold before, but the cold didn't cross my mind at all while snorkelling. It was an awesome experience. Ronan was amazing too, as he always went out if his way to help us. Amazing trip overall! Highly recommended! The guides should get a raise too ;P

This was by far the best tour I did in Iceland. I honestly wish I had known about Troll tours before so that I couldn’t have booked all my tours with them. Our guide Michael was very nice and entertaining and made sure we had enough time to go see everything on the south coast. The glacier hike was also beautiful and the highlight of the trip and something I recommend everyone do!

Unfortunately we didn't get to see the northern lights, but we were offered a free ticket that we will use next time we go to Iceland. Crew were extremely helpful ans the board was also a nice one as well as drinks purchased on board

This tour was well worth the money, the guide “God” was amazing and really made this tour what it is, from the humour to the very cool facts about Icelandic history. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

An exceptional tour through a magical landscape delivered by an incredible guide (Oliver)! 5/5, I can’t recommend strongly enough, thanks so much! Dominic, London
