    1. Full-Day Golden Circle Classic Tour w/ optional Blue Lagoon

This full-day tour begins with a stop at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and birthplace of the oldest existing parliament in the world. This is also the site where the tectonic plates of America and Eurasia have pulled apart, creating a rift valley on the shores of Iceland’s largest lake. Visit the Geysir Hot Springs, home to the original geyser and Iceland’s most iconic natural attraction. Here, the ground trembles and steaming hot water spouts spectacularly skyward from the famous Strokkur Geyser every few minutes. Take a leisurely walk down to Gullfoss Waterfall, an awesome sight to behold. A powerful glacial river cascades down 2 levels for 32 meters with a thunderous roar into a narrow canyon. Board a new bus equipped with WiFi and connected computer tablets at each seat. On the tablet, you’ll be able to use the GPS-sensitive audio guide (available in sever...

Walk behind the thundering veil of spray at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall and take in the incredible views from the top of the Skógafoss waterfall. Your tour begins with a drive through lava fields, passing by the active Hengill volcano, and then down to rich coastal farmlands. On clear days you’ll be able to see the Hekla volcano, and in the distance the glacier-capped Eyjafjallajökull volcano rises majestically above the coastal mountains. Just a few kilometers off the coastline and easily visible are the volcanic Westman Islands, an archipelago of around 15 small islands, only one of which is inhabited. The first stop is at the Sólheimajökull glacier, which is every photographer’s dream. Next on the itinerary is the Reynisfjara black sand beach. S...

What people are saying about Reykjavik

Our guide BG was amazing. You're lucky if you get him! He was full of cheeky, witty jokes, and he is extremely knowledgeable and insightful. To be honest, I was feeling under the weather. Everyone else in the trip was pretty hyped about everything and so BG was keeping up with their energy. But when he spoke to me, he matched my energy, and treated me kindly with respect. What a great guy! The trip itself was amazing too. We got very wet at the locations, from waterfalls to the black beach. So be prepared for that! It was truly awesome and inspiring. Highly recommend!

Very varied tour, thanks to the audio guide in the bus, also very suitable for non-English speaking guests, we were lucky that our guide even spoke German. The stays at the individual stations were chosen not to be too short, so that it was not hectic.

Hi! That was better than I expected. Big thanks to our guide for taking such excellent care of a group and being super helpful. The route itself is definitely must see. The best part of it were black sand beach, waterfalls
