Full description

Meet your personal guide, hop into the minivan, and start the day with a sightseeing of Reims "city of coronations". Drive by “Notre dame de Reims”, one of the first monuments to be registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Absorb the historical atmosphere of the city, home of the coronation of more than 25 kings of France, and later tragic heart of the two world wars. During your drive, pass by famous Champagne Houses such as Pommery and Taittinger.

Enjoy a full tour of the prestigious Champagne House “Veuve Clicquot” as an introduction to the Champagne-making process. Enter the UNESCO chalk cellars that are amazingly deep and long. Savor a nice morning glass of Champagne and prepare your palate for 10 Champagne wines tasted during the day.

Drive through the Champagne vineyards and have a stop among the vines to enjoy explanations about the vine-growing process and also a wonderful scenic view of the Champagne region. Be welcomed in a restored Champagne house and take one more step toward the sparkling beverage world.

Learn about the different aromas and flavors that can be found in Champagne through an olfactory workshop and a challenging blind tasting. Enjoy a traditional aperitif followed by a regional lunch with paired wines and Champagnes in a fun and familial atmosphere.

Get introduced to local products like baguette, Reims’ ham, Pâté en croûte, regional cheeses, pink biscuit, Ratafia and more.

Appreciate the charming hillsides of Champagne and peek behind the scenes of a family-run boutique winery. Visit the traditional press, vat room, and cellar of an authentic Champagne grower.

Stroll down the cool cellar corridors and glance at the immense quantity of bottles slowly maturing. Enjoy several tastings of their best–seller “cuvees” and find the best values of Champagne.

Your Champagne journey ends as your guide drives you back to the city of Reims to conclude your Champagne tour.

This experience is worth every dollar. It was an excellent experience. You have more than 8 tastings and the lunch is incredible good. You spend the whole day learning about champagne history and process of making. They give you a class about tasting champagne. You go to multiple locations. Would recommend 100%.

This is a great way to spend a day in Champagne! The tour was fun and informative. Our guide, Theo, did an excellent job of explaining the winemaking process and providing fun details about each grower. The cellars at Veuve Clicquot are impressive, but I really enjoyed the trips to the smaller growers, where I was able to try champagnes that I can’t access in the United States.
