What people are saying about Rabat

The foodies shouldn’t miss this experience under any circumstances ! We tasted all kind of Moroccan street food that we didn’t see in the other Moroccan restaurants we’ve been to. We walked through the medina and made many stops to discover and eat some local delicacies including Moroccan pancakes filled with oignons and hot chili pepper, some kind of local dumplings filled with vegetables, pastries with almonds and honey, an avocado and nuts smoothie, fried sardins, some kind of fried doughnuts with jelly and last but not least a bowl of snails !! I don’t really eat meat but some girls with us had some kind of nems filled with beef and spinach. Fouad was very nice, he gave many details about the food and the social structure of Morocco.

This was the epitome of all food tours. Mohammed was an excellent, fun and knowledgeable guide and he too us to the most amazing places. It is definitely a good idea to come with an empty stomach because there is A LOT OF FOOD. We did several stops at market stands, juice bars, pastry shops and the like and then had a full dinner of Moroccan Tajine and Couscous together. The group was small and there was enough time to chat and ask questions. We're vegetarians, but that wasn't a problem - Mohammend always provided good vegetarian options for us. After the tour we were so full we could barely walk. :-)

We had a delightful visit in a private home and a hands on experience with a charming lady who is a fabulous cook! The meal we shared after class was as good or better than any restaurant meal we’ve had in Rabat!

It was fun getting ingredients in the market and making everything from scratch. There was so much food and the experience was very authentic. We also got to find out a lot about Moroccan culture in general

I have been the only member of the Tour, so I could enjoy a real personal treatment. My Guide was very experienced, informative with a lot of homour.
