The Hotel Glace is definitely worth the trip to Valcartier to see! It’s absolutely spectacular! The planning, creativity, talent and hours that went into creating this masterpiece can only be appreciated by seeing this place first-hand. It’s beyond beautiful and so unique! A must-see! Leave yourself lots of time as we went on the 9:00am tour and needed to take the 11:15am return and this felt too rushed to truly experience all the rooms in the ice hotel. In saying this, to be fair, our tour bus showed up 15 minutes late so that did cut into our time, which ended up being only about an hour.

The travel to the hotel was very good. The hotel itself was amazing,, each room was spectacular and very much worth the visit. The issue was it was advertised as having two pick up times 2:45 and 6:00, although when we arrived at the hotel the driver announced that the last pick up was at 2:45 which was a shame

The ice hotel was incredible. You need a couple of hours to see everything. We ended up missing the first bus back because we were a bit longer than that so we improvised and had lunch at the valcartier hotel complex which was nice as well. Be sure to have a drink at the ice bar. Everything was fantastic and a highlight of our trip.
