It was nice to get an introduction to Ile D’orleans in a short period of time without having to rent a car, worry about where to go and how to get there. Our guide Peter was very nice and informative too. The tasting portions were small (but we expected that from reading other reviews), yet the experience was fun. I really enjoyed seeing the “countryside” with apple orchards, small vineyards, pick your own pumpkin farms (we visited in late September), and charming homes on the drive.

The Island is beautiful and interesting. We visited a jam shop then a chocolate shop. The vineyard was lovely, very small samples for tasting like a mouthful, but the charcuterie and cheese boards which you buy as extra were yummy - would recommend purchasing. The cider factory was interesting and they explained what we were tasting in small groups and we could ask questions. Overall it was a good afternoon.
