I have mostly "pros" about this activity, it went very smooth for the most part. The staff at the prep site and at the visitor center were very nice and informative. We got lucky and enjoyed beautiful weather. Doing the actual zipline only lasts a few seconds. It is over before you know it and it feels very secured. Besides listening to the basic instructions on landing at the prep platform, no special or previous skills are required. The only 'con' I can muster if any, it is that at the end of the activity we are required to walk twice more (to the starting point and back to the parking lot/entrance point) the length of the trail to the other side of the falls/bridge to return the equipment (harness and helmet), which makes the activity feel more like a hiking trip that a zipline one. And if deciding going down the steps to the foot of the falls, bear in mind your age/stamina, as it is a 487 step work out back up. Besides that, I definitely recommend this activity.
The parking lot we were directed to by the app was full and we were directed with no real direction to “go to the next parking”. Thankfully, this actually put us much closer to the zipline than the directions we were originally given. Not sure why they would have you park and walk the whole way across rather than park close. You end up doing the walk across the falls after regardless, to return your harness and gear. Also the “appointment time” was meaningless. We had to wait in lines for gear and then for our turn with everyone else who hadn’t planned ahead. The zipline was super fun, but the booking experience was not helpful at all.
The staff were very helpful and thorough is preparing myself and my grand- daughter for the Zip line. They have free lockers to store any of your personal belongings. When you complete the Zip line you must walk back to return your equipment. It is not far and a relaxing walk, but there a few stairs. Park at the top of the falls. There is a parking fee of about $12.00.
Did it to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. It was a blast! The booking system allowed us to select a suitable time. Need to be there at least half hour prior to minimise delay. The stuff were professional and attentive. We drove to the venue. Need to select Zip Line in your navigation system or will be directed to another site. That delayed us about 10 minutes.
The experience itself was great, but difficult to reach someone by phone when I had questions. Also would be nice if equipment could be returned at the end of the line rather than walking all the way back since I then had to back track again to the cable car.
