Embark on a full-day tour to the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, Memphis and Sakkara. Start your tour by visiting the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. The highlight of this section is getting close up to the Sphinx - the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren. Admire the impressive statue and get your photo taken beside it. You will then visit Sakkara, a 27 km journey away from Cairo. The highlight of this section is the Step Pyramid. Sayed Hamdy, my tour guide, and Mohammed, my driver, were both fantastic. Sayed was extremely knowledgeable about every site we went to, and you could tell he was passionate about history. He was also an excellent photographer that took numerous photos of my husband and me at each site. Mohammed was an excellent driver and safely got us to each place. Both Sayed and Mohammed were excellent conversationalists, which made for great discussions throughout the entire day. They also took us to a few local places to shop before lunch, where we could learn more about products particular to Egypt. I would absolutely recommend this tour as it was a wonderful experience and I will be booking another trip with them in the future. Since I recently moved to Cairo, they were even happy to give advice on restaurants near my home and the best foods to try. They made us feel extremely welcome, and we will absolutely be using their services again!

Omar, our guide, was excellent. We were battling against the elements with rain and howling gales whilst we were at the Pyramids where normally blue sky and sunshine is the norm but Cairo had the worst weather for 24 yrs! Despite all this we visited the Pyramids, Memphis and Karnak, where Omar gave an expert explanation of all 3 sights.

We had a lovely time with Noha - she was extremely informative, with a good level of English, and more importantly, a good sense of humour. We were taken by driver to various pyramid and other historical sites, and felt at ease to take our time at the venues and ask questions freely. Lunch was lovely, and it went very smoothly. Thanks again Noha!
