The afternoon begins with hotel pick up in Punta Cana. Once onboard, the first stop will be to a shallow reef for a 30-40 minute snorkeling tour. For those who have never snorkeled, our certified guides will provide instructions as well as all the necessary equipment. Afterwards, cruise up the coast to the natural pool; a sandbank where visitors can enjoy clear shallow waters and take part in fun water activities and competitions organized by our friendly crew and animation team.  Onboard, enjoy unlimited beverages including beer, rum, and mamajuana, as well as a selection of fresh fruit and snacks. Dance the afternoon away to local and international hits and enjoy the sun’s last rays over the Caribbean Sea.

Start your tour nice and early, ready for a day jam-packed full of adventure. From the ranch in Macao, you will go tearing through the remote farmland of northern Punta Cana, passing palm trees and tobacco plantations with the Oriental Mountain Range deep in the background. Get to enjoy a tour in an all terrain buggy for about 3-hours and 30-minutes. Once the activity is over, your personal transport will take you back to the hotel, where you can shower, have lunch and relax for a few hours before you start the rest of your adventure.  Around 2:20 PM in the afternoon, your air-conditioned bus will pick you up again at the lobby reception and will take you to the meeting point called Bibijagua Beach. Here, the staff will give you information about your safety before taking you on a majestic catamaran which will transport you to the snorkel barrier, complete with views of the dolphinarium and finally the natural pool (waist height). You will get to do all this whilst sampling local drinks at the bar, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Enjoy a fun instruction that will teach you some local dance moves. The sunset party boat in Punta Cana is ideal for visitors who would like to make the most of their afternoon enjoying the sunset by the natural pool with tropical music and an island style happy hour. With your friendly staff, you’ll dance the afternoon away! You will start by cruising along the coast of Bavaro Beach, taking in the scenery around you in the most ideal of settings. As an added bonus, you will get to have a shopping tour where cigars, souvenirs, rum, mamajuana and so much more, are readily available.

This experience has adventure stamped all over it. Off-road buggy or safari truck rides, traditional Taino ceremonies, and swimming in underground pools make for an adrenaline-pumping evening from Punta Cana. Juan, one of our local guides, says ‘Caves and cenotes played an important role in the indigenous Taino culture. Despite looking so tempting with their cool aquamarine water, the Taino people never swam in the cenotes or used the water because of their belief that they were a gateway to the underworld.' Plus, you'll enjoy a Dominican dinner and an open bar followed by live music and dancing around a bonfire. To kick off your all-action evening, you'll power through the Dominican countryside, zoom along dirt tracks and watch as the landscape transforms from day to night. Guided by torchlight, you'll continue your journey to take a swim in a natural cave pool, known as a cenote, with atmospheric lighting. And if you choose the safari truck option, you'll also get to visit the eerie depths of Yara Cave. With flaming torches lighting the way, you'll make your way back to the base for a well-earned drink and a tasty dinner of local cuisine. The restaurant staff prides themselves on creating classic Dominican dishes, freshly prepared with seasonal produce from the island. Rounding off the evening is a traditional Taino dance show and the chance to join in with a boogie around the bonfire or enjoy the open bar under the stars.

Sunset in the Dominican Republic doesn't come more atmospheric than this – sitting astride your horse, gazing out over the leafy tropical terrain from the top of a mountain. This evening ride comes with a dinner of local favourites down at the ranch and a few fun surprises thrown in, too. Juan, one of our local guides, says, ‘Everyone Dominican's grandmother has her own recipes for local specialities like sancocho, a meat-and-vegetable stew. One version for special occasions has seven different types of meat, plus herbs and spices. It's supposed to be a good hangover cure.' A briefing and welcome drink will get you into the spirit of the evening before you saddle up and set off on a leisurely sunset tour on horseback. Enjoy the scenery as you weave through remote farmland and lush green rainforest. It's a great way to get back to nature, and you'll be rewarded with sweeping vistas of the landscape as you head up into the mountains. At the top, there's time for photos, making the most of the low evening light as the sun sinks towards the horizon. After riding back down to the ranch for dinner, you'll try some local dishes like Juan's favourite sancocho stew, crisp plantain ‘tostones', yuca and burgers. Plus, you'll get to watch a cigar-rolling demonstration if it takes your fancy. Then, after dinner, you could chill out on one of the rocking chairs with a brandy or have more fun with a lasso-throwing lesson.
