What people are saying about Puno Region

Truly an unforgettable experience..spectacular Uros the reed islands .. despite the recommendations of the guide on the simple and basic life of local families on amantani, we slept at Mrs Gladys house much better than many hotels during the rest of the trip .. lunch dinner and simple but abundant breakfast, vegetable soups, rice, cheese, pancakes .. very good .. in the evening on Amantani the community has a party with all the tourists dressed in typical clothes .. unforgettable

The trips was an amazing way to see and learn about lake Titicaca and it’s people! Our guide Jose Carlos was great fun and very informative. Our host family on Amantani island we so lovely as well. Overall we had such a great time on the trip and would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to see the natural beauty of the lake and get to know the local people.

Unique and fun adventure. The stop on one of the Uros Islands was very interesting - such gentle people! The overnight home stay on Amantani was special, and the hike up to the temples of Pacha Tata and Pacha Mamá was challenging and beautiful. Excellent two days, with fabulous authentic and homemade food.

This trip was very well organised. Staying with the local family was really nice. You stay with other people from the group too.

So enriching humanly speaking, a real homestay experience as I wanted
