What people are saying about Puno Region

1 star less for the difficult pick up at our hotel and for the uros islands. Staging, sale of objects and "obligation" to take a boat ride. Starting with that, we quickly want this circus to stop. Finally, the reception on Amantani Island was very good. It was less touristy contrary to what one could expect after uros. Beautiful sunset and folk dance, we had a great time. Taquile island is very pretty and looks like amantani. The excursion is therefore to be done but it is necessary to disregard the uros islands.

A truly great experience! Welcomed by the inhabitants of Uros who explained to us how the islands are built, we then continued our journey on Amantani where we stayed with the locals. A truly extraordinary experience. Do not hesitate to ask to share your meals with the locals because they will not dare! A small party had even been organized. We then ended our adventure on Taquile. To do absolutely!

Nice excursion even if it is a bit touristy. It allows these ethnic groups to stay there for a few more years.
