Enjoy a picnic lunch together on the riverbank.  After disembarking from your cruise ship, get picked up from the pier. Travel for 90 minutes through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside to Reventazon River, Florida section, in Siquirres Town. The Florida section of the Reventazon River is recommended for rafting beginners as well as experienced paddlers.  This river is famous for its sheer beauty. Enjoy the feeling of total isolation from urban life and getting connected with nature. Take in amazing views of this virgin tropical rainforest area and crystalline waters. Wildlife is abundant, with sloths, toucans, parrots, coatis, morpho butterflies, and colorful frogs being common sights.  The white water is equally exciting. It is not an overly challenging river, but it has some nice rapids, therefore giving you an adventure filled with lots of fun. Once at the river departure point, staff will be waiting for you and you receive safety instructions. Start paddling and enjoy the 18 rapids Florida section has in 10 miles (ca. 16 km) of rafting tour, which will last around 2-2.5 hours. The tour also includes a nice picnic-style lunch on the bank of the river. Return to Puerto Limon cruise pier where you will be dropped off.
