After pickup from your accommodation in Puebla, you’ll head straight to the archaeological site of Cholula, home to the largest pyramid in existence. Explore the underground tunnels, elaborate altars, and climb to the top of the pyramid. Wander the large plateau on the the top of the pyramid, taking note of the ornate church and views of the surrounding volcanoes. Afterwards, head to the Church of Santa Maria Tonantzintla in the town of Cholula, a chapel famous for its elaborate interior decorations and significance to local religious tradition. Afterwards, you’ll head to a pottery studio for a tasting of artisanal spirits, including eggnog and other locally-crafted liquors.  You’ll end your day by heading to the brilliantly colorful Church of San Francisco Acatepec to explore the exquisite details of the mosaics, inside and out. Afterwards, you’ll head back for drop-off in any point in Puebla City.

After pickup from your accommodation in Puebla, head out towards Iztaccíhuatl-Popocatépetl National Park. After 2 hours, you’ll arrive at La Joyita, where you’ll register with officials and gain a better understanding of the route via a scale model of the volcanoes. From there, you’ll continue driving to La Joya, 13,133 feet above sea level, and the main parking area for volcanic exploration. Begin your hike, climbing to the first scenic viewpoint at 13,914 feet above sea level. Gaze out across the breathtaking vista before climbing even higher, to 14,340 feet, where you’ll pause again, finally ending your hike at an unbelievable 14,842 feet above sea level. Break for lunch, taking in the otherworldly views. Afterwards, you’ll descend back to the parking lots, before heading back to your accommodation.

After pickup from your hotel lobby, head straight to the La Malinche National Park for your adventure up the dormant volcano. After a quick stop for coffee and tea, you’ll begin your 4-hour journey through 2,000 feet of altitude up to a prime viewpoint. Gaze down the rocky slopes upon the surrounding cities and vast plains of the national park. Upon arrival at a scenic viewpoint at a height of 12,467 feet, you’ll break for lunch and for photo ops. Afterwards, you’ll begin the roughly 2.5-hour descent down the picturesque slopes of the volcano. After a full day of stunning mountain exploration, you’ll be transferred back to your accommodation in Puebla.

Immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of Puebla and Cholula on this full-day tour. After getting picked up from your hotel, head straight to the Regional Museum and Archeological Zone of Cholula, which is considered the oldest city in America. Enjoy a guided tour of the region, ending on top of the pyramid where the symbolic Remedio's Church is located. Afterward, head back to the historical center of Puebla for a guided tour. First, pay a visit to the Palafoxiana Library, the first of its kind in all the Americas. Later, stroll past the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and the gold-plated rosary chapel. In the "Street of Candies", enjoy a tasting of local sweets and liquors.  Later, visit the artist plaza and an artisan craft market, as well as a visit to the Alley of Frogs, where you will find an antique flea market. Finally, visit the famous Cinco de Mayo forts which surround the city before getting dropped off back at your accommodation.

Take a private tour from Puebla to explore the beautiful cities of Atlixco and Atlimeyaya. Get picked up at your hotel, then sit back and relax in the air-conditioned vehicle on the 50-minute drive to Atlixco. Arrive in the city’s historical center and visit the main square and municipal palace. Stop to enjoy a tasting of handcrafted ice creams, beer, mezcal and chocolate. Afterwards, visit a nursery to admire hundreds of species of plants, trees and flowers.  Continue to Atlimeyaya, stopping at one of the many trout farms in this region. Enjoy feeding the fish as you learn about the local industry. Finally, return to Puebla where you’ll be dropped off back at your hotel.

After pickup from the lobby of your hotel, head straight to the historical center of the city. Your first stop is Palafoxiana Library, the first public library in the Americas, the ornate building that houses more than 45,000 books and manuscripts dating back to 1493. Afterwards, you’ll continue through the historical center, viewing cathedrals, the Rosary’s Chapel, and the Zocalo.  Continuing onwards, you’ll enjoy a tasting of locally produced liquors and candies, before heading to the bohemian artist’s neighborhood. Afterwards, amble through the El Parián marketplace, viewing traditional handicrafts produced by local artisans, and the Alley of the Frogs, a bustling avenue filled with vendors and technicolor buildings. The tour continues with a visit to the secret tunnels of Xanenetla, built by the Mexican army in the 19th century, and only recently unearthed. Your tour concludes with a visit to panoramic viewpoint at the Fortress of May 5th, after which you’ll be driven back to your accommodation, or any other point in Puebla.

Start your adventure in the lobby of your accommodation, this is where your driver/guide will meet you. Enjoy a scenic, 2.5 hour transfer from Puebla to Zacapoaxtla where the waterfall named The Pot is located. Once here, you'll get to visit the natural beauty of this place for 30 minutes. Next, your transfer continues for around another hour to the Archaeological zone of Yohualichan, with a fascinating 45 minute break scheduled for this location.  Continue on your journey for around 30 minutes to the magical town of Cuetzalan. Here, you will get to visit the church of San Francisco, Zocalo, the kiosk, a café with a coffee tasting and the church decorated with pitchers. After the tour, your return starts to Puebla with the drop off being back at your hotel.

Following a convenient pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Puebla city, begin your private day tour by departing on a 2-hour journey to the first magical town of Zacatlán. Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic walk that will take you to murals made of tiles and ceramic pieces, as well as to the crystal viewpoint on the edge of the canyon. Next, visit the Relojes Centenario watchmaking factory, the first manufacturer of monumental clocks in Latin America. Then visit the café and bar at Zócalo de Zacatlán where you can have a tasting of wines, ciders, and liquors. Then, move onto the El Salto de Quetzalapan waterfall in the second magical town of Chignahuapan. Walk along the 365-step trail, built one step per day for an entire year, then, descend 100ft to the overlook where you can appreciate the waterfalls. Next, visit the main plaza of the town where you can appreciate one of the most beautiful Mudejar style-kiosks, and visit the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception that protects the 12m sculpture of the Virgin Mary. The last stop will be at one of many factories of Christmas ornaments, the main economic force in Chignahuapan, before the return journey to Puebla.
