    Full description
    Start the tour by visiting Monte Brasil, where you can see the Fortress of São João Baptista, built by the Spanish during their conquest of the Azores. Enjoy fantastic views of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Angra do Heroísmo. Proceed along the southeast of Terceira Island towards the villages of Ribeirinha, Feteira, and São Sebastião. See beautiful natural landmarks such as Serra da Ribeirinha and the Ilhéus das Cabras, culminating in a visit to the island's oldest church. Next, stop at Serra do Cume, a viewpoint located in Terceira's largest "caldeira". Observe the vast expanse of agricultural fields spread out the island. Enjoy some free time in the charming town of Praia da Vitória. Continue along the northern coast of the island and visit the Biscoitos Natural Swimming Pools. Have an optional visit to Algar do Carvão, an empty volcanic chimney, and Gruta do Natal (lava tube) which take about 30-40 minutes each. The tour is concluded by visiting the Queijo Vaquinha Cheese Factory and São Mateus Fishing Port with drop-off back at your accommodation.

    We were very happy with the places we visited, the pace of visits, our dear knowledgeable guide Anna who willing to show all the beauties of the island.. This was a really jigh quality experience and only in one day, we were able to see 75% of the island.. We thank to dear Anna and the tour company

    This might be the best full day tour I’ve experienced and I travel a lot. It was a great mix of nature and history with a ton of beautiful sights at a good pace. The van was very big and comfortable. Catarina was our guide and she was so knowledgeable, passionate and patient. We were able to check out all the highlights of Terceria Island and also stop at different spots we might want to spend more time later on the trip. Monte Brasil was breath-taking as were all the different view points on the island. Biscoitos was my favourite and I loved how we explored the two sides of the island all on the same tour. And when we decided that we wanted to go to both Gruta do Natal and Algarve do Carvo, she extended our tour and didn’t even rush us. Catarina also answered all our questions and even helped us call a rental car company when we were stuck. She was awesome! Definitely take this tour when you are visiting Terceria Island! You won’t be disappointed.

    The tour was absolutely amazing thanks to our guide Nuno, he is the absolute best!!! We have seen the whole island, local traditions of Holy Spirit Celebration, hidden beautiful places and many others - Gruta de Natal, Algar do Carvão, Furnas.
