Enjoy a feast for your ears, and listen to classical music brought to life by a group of professional musicians at Lobkowicz Palace in the Prague Castle complex. The midday concert takes place in the 17th-century Baroque Concert Hall, where the painted stucco ceilings will have you in raptures. One of the most important cultural sites of the Czech Republic, Lobkowicz Palace is the only privately owned building in the castle complex. The concert program varies from day-to-day, but invariably includes solo and ensemble pieces by Baroque composers such as Bach and Vivaldi, alongside great 19th-century Czech composers, including Dvořák and Smetana. Add a touch of romance to your day with this aural experience that is also a delight for the eyes. Concert program: M. A. Charpentier - Te Deum A. It’s important to leave plenty of time to line up for security to get into Prague Castle. Although we saw “skip the line “ tickets on GetYourGuide to get into the Castle, these are not necessary as entrance to the castle itself is free. This fact should be made clearer by GetYourGuide. But you do have to go through security and how long that takes depends on the number of visitors to the Castle. . The concert is in a lovely space in Lukowicz Palace, which is on the Castle grounds, and it was delightful.

There are quite a few stairs to climb and descend, which we weren't expecting. Also, do get there a bit earlier as the majority of rows are unreserved. We would have liked to be able to watch the pianist playing. However, excellent performance, beautiful setting.

Truly an amazing performance by three very accomplished musicians. They played a varied program of classical music to a smaller group of listeners which made for an intimate feel. The Lobkowicz Palace was a beautiful venue. A highlight to our trip in Europe indeed. Would recommend attending.
