Learn about the long and often turbulent history of Prague and the Czech Republic on a guided walking tour of the Old Town and Jewish Quarter. Hear of the stories behind the house signs and statues of the Powder Tower. Walk to the Municipal House, where you will be astonished by the façade of the Church of St. Nicholas. Venture with your tour guide into the heart of the Old Town, where you will see the famous Astronomical Clock on the Old Town Hall, before making your way to the former Jewish Ghetto. Listen to the myths and legends of the neighbourhood, including the story of Rabi Loew’s legendary monster Golem. Learn about local Jewish traditions, and discover more about Franz Kafka's life and work. See the city's synagogues, including the oldest synagogue in Europe. See the site of the Jewish Town Hall, visit the Old Jewish Cemetery, and build a picture of life for the Jewish community throughout the history of Prague. Once you are done with the tour, your guide will hand you tickets to the Jewish Museum, which you can then explore at your own pace.

Meet your guide by the statue of King Charles IV., nearby the Charles Bridge. It is the only statue on a small square ”Krizovnicke namesti” in front of the Old-town Bridge Tower. Your guide will be holding an orange umbrella. Tram: stop "Karlovy Lázně" or "Staroměstská". Subway: A (green line), stop "Staroměstská" .

Esperienza bella e interessante, pensavo tuttavia che fosse inclusa la guida almeno nel cimitero ebraico. Tornando indietro prenderei l’opzione senza biglietti inclusi, farei il giro con la guida e poi acquisterei separatamente solo i biglietti per il cimitero. Gli altri siti (che comunque ti devi visitare da solo) non ne valgono la pena!
