Prague: Ghosts and Legends of the Old Town Evening Tour

2. Prague: Ghosts and Legends of the Old Town Evening Tour

Come with us on a walk through Prague’s dark past, through narrow, cobbled streets and winding lanes where murderers, alchemists, monsters and spirits once walked. We will take you away from the bustle and noise of the Old Town Square into one of the eeriest parts of Prague, once a den of poverty, plague and magic, an area often overlooked by tour guides yet full of history, intrigue and atmosphere. You’ll hear stories of death and betrayal, dark arts and demonic visions. Learn about the restless spirits said to roam amongst the beautiful architecture of the Old Town and who knows, perhaps you’ll even meet them face to face! No one will jump out at you to try to scare you. On this tour we focus on storytelling and not on special effects or cheap tricks to make the tour ‚frightening‘. We will take you through the mysteries, legends and tales from the darker side of Prague’s history, and none of our stories are made up for the tour. This is a tour for sceptics and believers alike, or those who want to experience a different side of Prague from the regular historical tours.

The ghost tour was a fantastic experience! Our guide was fantastic, she was very captivating and she knew her stuff! Her stories were really interesting, she took us to knee areas of the city we hadn’t yet explored but equally was great to hear the legends and history of the buildings we had passed in the day. What a great way to really learn about the history of such an interesting city! Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend! Martina is very personable and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to give us information and show us the real Prague. I feel like I wasn’t just shown the cities history but made a witchy friend.

Our guide was Victoria. She was very good with explaining things and telling the stories. This was something different and interesting. I had gone with my friends and everyone really enjoyed it.

The tour was great. A very good German speaking guide with humor and exciting stories. The time passed quickly and it was worth it. Also recommended in bad weather!
