Frequently asked questions about Prague

What top attractions are a must-see in Prague?

Planning Your Visit

  • Discover Czech Beer

True to its reputation, Czech beer is delicious. A newcomer might be confused by the beer's alcohol content, however. Don't worry, the numbers given to the beers don't indicate their alcohol percentage. They refer to the alcohol degree, which is a much more complicated factor. As a rule of thumb, 10 and 12 degrees, the most common, are equivalent to roughly 4% and 5% respectively. Some beers go all the way up to 19 degrees – that's 8% alcohol!

  • Try a Czech Hot Dog

Believe it or not, one of Prague's culinary highlights are its hot dogs. Infinitely superior to their American counterparts, these delicious sausages stuffed in French baguettes offer the best cheap lunch in town. Stalls are peppered throughout the city, just take your pick!

Beautifully clean boat. Very attentive staff. Plenty to eat and with a very varied choice there was something for everyone. Whether hot or cold or a mix of both you could visit the buffet as many times as you wanted. To finish off a great mix of puddings/cakes and cheese. Entertainment was included by an accordionist who sometimes burst into song as we were enjoying our delicious lunch. The only downside, which wasn’t their fault, was that we couldn’t travel the length of the River as was advertised. We were warned beforehand but didn’t feel the need to complain as we were leaving Prague that evening!

Fabulous guide, very friendly and informative. Journey was pleasant only one other couple with us which made it easy to ask questions.

Great value for money. For just 10€ you get to see so much. Everything very well organised and easy understand.
