I thoroughly enjoyed this treasure hunt,I live in Portsmouth but have never explored the harbour and the area around it .The booklet was very interesting and great clues and the bonus of eating and having a drink with a good discount in some of the best pubs I have visited.

It was a bright sunny day in Old Portsmouth and we were doing the treasure trail with relatives visiting from Scotland. We’ve done treasure trails before, but this was their first. They absolutely loved it! So did we. Although they have visited us in Portsmouth many times, the trail took us places we hadn’t noticed before and entertained us with historical anecdotes along the way. The clues were excellent and we all enjoyed the challenges. All doable . We stopped into The SallyPort for reviving coffees / beers along the way - very jolly and with the benefit of three floors (4?) of military antiques and other interesting objects to look at. We spent about three hours overall, with the pit stop and antiques looksee included, all on flat pavements, I definitely recommend this outing.

It was a dull February day and we wanted a family activity to do and get us out and about, this was perfect, we really enjoyed trekking about in our own time solving the clues we made the most of the pit stops, the staff were lovely and it helped us see what else there is available in the local area, we’re hoping there are a lot more of these to do in other locations!
