This was a lovely trip which I would definitely recommend. Lovely scenery and not too much commentary but enough to explain the landmarks such as bridges and locks. The food was generous and of good quality with waiter service. All the staff were polite and friendly and worked hard. My wife and I have happy memories from this trip and enjoyed the experience. The seating on deck was a little limited,but didn’t cause us any hardship.

It was a very enjoyable and memorable trip. The onboard meal was good (even with, sadly, overcooked tinned vegetables!) and we enjoyed drinks at the bar which most other passengers didn't know was there! But it was not clear on the details that we would be returning by coach to Porto (why was this not mentioned?), albeit a very good coach on an excellent motorway, nor was it clear that the coach would drop us off in the centre of Porto at the end of the day as opposed to the river quayside where we had started, even though this suited us very well.

The Duro River Trip perfectly our expectations. We wanted to go beyond Porto but did not have time to spend overnight. This trip allowed us to see landscape outside Porto, experience going through two locks and the food was good (we didn't need the granola bars we brought "just in case"). We would highly recommend this trip.
