Enjoy a cruise along the Algarve coast to the Benagil Caves where you'll have the opportunity to explore the caves by kayak. Your catamaran will depart from the Marina of Portimão. Aboard, the crew will brief you on the kayak equipment and kayaking skills. You'll cruise along the coast to Albandeira Beach. From the beach, you'll paddle to the Benagil Caves. Along the way, you'll have the chance to visit other caves and enjoy the golden coast. Your experienced guide will point out local landmarks and direct you to the most interesting spots including the impressive Captain’s Cave, Barraquinho Beach, Baraço Cave, and the world famous Marinha Beach. There's even time for a quick swim. If you get tired, you can always get back on board the catamaran for a rest, before heading back to the marina. Your catamaran has toilets, comfortable seats, and a professional crew. If you don't feel like kayaking and just want to enjoy the views from the catamaran, you're welcome on this tour, too.

It was a nice trip, we certainly kayaked for 1 hour/1.5 hours. Pretty heavy but super cool! The guides were also helpful, patient and informative. After kayaking you had the opportunity to jump from the boat into the sea and have a swim. We also managed to spot dolphins! I look back on it with great pleasure. It is therefore important to wear swimwear and to carry a waterproof bag with you in which you can put your phone. You will have the opportunity to take pictures when you arrive at your destination.

Nice small group, which was first brought to the waters of the Benagil cave in about 25 minutes by catamaran. After a short briefing, the kayak went on the water. About 1.5 hours was the pure kayak time in which several caves or crottes were approached. A short stop of 20 minutes was made in the Benagil cave. Then we went back to the catamaran, where there was another 20 minutes to swim. In total we had a really great time in 3 hours. No mass processing like in Benagil directly. But you have to be aware that the Benagil Cave is the main attraction of the Algarve, if not Portugal. Accordingly, no pictures of empty beaches in the Benagil Cave are to be expected.

This was a lot of fun - happy hosts who spoke lots of languages, simple kayak instructions, interesting local history and a chilled vibe on the boat going out to the caves, highly recommend! Didn’t realise hotel pick up was an option so wasted money on taxis to the port but still worth it!!
