    Get picked up from your hotel in Port Elizabeth, Bluewater Bay, or Colchester. Spend a full day exploring the third largest National Park in South Africa with an expert local guide.

    The original elephant section of the park was proclaimed in 1931, when only eleven elephants remained in the area. 

    Today you can see a variety of predators, antelope, zebra species, endangered black rhino as well as the unique Addo flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo. 

    The park is also the only one in the world to conserve the “Big 7” – the Big 5 as well as the southern right whale and great white shark off the Algoa Bay coast. 

    An excursion to the Addo Elephant park is a must when visiting this unique area.

    We were picked up and dropped off at the location we stayed at in Port Elizabeth which was very convenient! Our guide, Stafford, really made an effort to give us a great experience, and even though we did not see any lions, we saw plenty of other beautiful animals. He also gave us a lot of background information about the park and all the amazing animals that live there. Halfway our tour we had a cozy lunch, almost like a picknick. We enjoyed it very much and had a wonderful day!

    King Elvis was our driver and it was an extraordinary day. Not only we got to see plenty of animals but Elvis was really professional and knowledgeable. Would recommend this experience to anyone and if you are lucky and get King Elvis as a driver then it is the cherry on the cake.

    The guide was very pleasant and nice. We saw some animals and it was wonderful. Elephants, families of elephants with their babies. We saw them playing. We also saw zebras and lions and more. The problems were that: 1. it was very hot in the car. The air con was hardly effective. 2. We drove many hours and saw very little. So most of the time was hot and boring. Lunch was very good. But again, it was very hot at the restaurant.
