Had the best time. The hosts were fabulous and the running commentary and stories were great and helped to pass the time from Port Douglas to Cairns and return at the end. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were always liked after. Would go again in a heart beat.

Small group of 8 with our guide Dale who is a history buff and kept us amused all day with local facts / stories from the 19/20th Century Cairns, Port Douglas, Mossman, Palm Cove. Dale made sure we were always at the right place at the correct time so we didn’t miss out on any of the attractions in Karunda. We did the 1/2 day tour and for us we had more than enough time. The humidity increases up the mountain and it felt like 40degrees it was a godsend to be able to get in Dale’s air conditioned minibus. Dale has great Oz personality.

Overall a wonderful tour and great Guide; wanted more Kuranda time.

Given how much there was to see and do in Kuranda itself, the less than 70 minutes was unsatisfactory and the Palm Cove stop could be skipped entirely and that time spent well for up to 2 hours in Kuranda. We raced through Butterflies, birds and animals exhibits in the wild, missed see the village itself and its aboriginal culture entirely. However, we loved the train and tram rides and their stops with history, nature and cultural information!
